Travel Log 6-15-03 Lawrence and some Tewksbury (1 of 151)

Here is a map that shows the spur on the north side of the river and the north side of the canal that leaves the M&L and works it's way east up to Marston St. Unfortunately much of the spur is gone but there is also quite a bit left. For part of the way the spur is in the street. You can see the black on red indicating the rail in the road. If you follow the Manchester and Lawrence across the river, right near BM 35 the spur breaks off and heads east on the north side of that island. A ways down it crosses the canal on a sturdy iron bridge and continues east. You can see where the black over the red ends on the right side of the map, underneath where it says Storrow Park. It's up there where we begin our tour and where the caboose is.
